Toluhydroquinones is used as a stabilizer for unsaturated polyesters and as an antioxidant for fatty esters, linseed oil, and other nonfood fats and oils. It is used as a stabilizer to inhibit peroxide formation in ethers, chlorinated hydrocarbons and ethyl cellulose. Also, it is used as an intermediate to manufacture other stabilizers, dyes, pharmaceuticals and plasticizers.
Use our Toluhydroquinones which are available in white and powered form. They undergo chemical reactions which are similar to those of hydroquinone. The presence of a methyl group in them account for the slight structural and behavioral differences between toluhydroquinone and hydroquinone. They are highly active inhibitor in the free radical polymerization of vinyl monomers and unsaturated polyesters. They are used in several industries or factories for various purposes. The Toluhydroquinones are highly effective, give excellent result and have long shelf life.
